Academic and Financial Petitions

If you’ve experienced extremely difficult circumstances, such as a serious medical illness or the death of an immediate family member, you may submit a petition to the University for special accommodations.

You may also submit a financial petition for a refund if you must drop a course after the refund deadline. If you need to have a course dropped from your transcript or to enrol after the enrolment deadline, you may submit an academic petition.

Two-Factor Authentication and Identification at York

Passport York

Passport York is York’s primary method of online authentication. You must sign up for your Passport York username and password so that you can log into York’s online services for students, because Passport York determines the services you can access. Once you have created your username and password, you can use them to sign in at Passport York login pages, such as registering for courses, checking your grades, Moodle and using AirYork wireless internet on campus.

YU-card

Your YU-card is the one card you need to access key services such as the library, recreation facilities, exams, food, meal plans, shopping, events, discounts and more. Load up your YU-card and use it as a debit card at points of sale across campus, plus select off-campus merchants, to save time and money - perfect for being on the go.
