Once received your OSAP, make sure you report changes when dropping/adding a course, providing incorrect information or having a change in your income. If you haven’t yet, you can still apply for OSAP. Follow these steps: I’m Ready to Apply for OSAP.
APPLY FOR ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Consider applying for York’s Bursary Program to supplement your primary sources of funding, such as OSAP, government assistance from other provinces, employment and parental/spousal support.
Consider Working While Studying
Gain valuable work experience and contribute to university life, while earning money, through one of our Work/Study employment opportunities.

OSCR also ensures student compliance with the Code of Student Rights & Responsibilities (The Code), managing and resolving conflicts amongst students.

The York Federation of Students offers a comprehensive student health and dental plan to undergraduate students. If you have comparable insurance, you can coordinate your benefits or opt-out for a refund. Students beginning their studies in Winter 2025 have an opportunity to opt-in/out until February 7, 2025.
