Understanding your Academic Decision
You will receive an Academic Decision at the end of each academic session (Fall/Winter and Summer) on your final grade report, below the section with your GPA (Grade Point Average) and Credit Totals. These decisions, such as “May continue in honours,” “May not continue in program,” and more, will indicate your progression status in your program and help you plan the next steps in your studies. Good Standing (May Continue in Good Standing)
You’re in good standing, which means your grades are right where they need to be for you to continue your studies. Keep leveraging the resources that you use to ensure you stay on track. If you need support at any time, don’t hesitate to contact your Academic Advisor. Keep going, you’re on track!
Caution (May Continue on Academic Warning)
If you received an academic decision that includes a warning about being able to continue, there are steps you should take to get yourself back on track. You can use some support, and we’re here to help you. If you receive a caution on your Academic Decision, there are resources to help you get your grades to a better space. - Academic Advising
- Academic Advising helps you make informed decisions about your academic pathway with a professional as you progress through your program. Academic advising is provided by your Faculty's advising office, to help you get resources from advisors who understand your subject of study.
- Learning Commons
- Take advantage of academic support with writing, researching, time management, studying and more with the Learning Commons. Here, you can find support for your academic success right from the comfort of the library.
- Connect with your College
- Your college is your home base and is there to support you when you need it. Find your college, explore the resources they offer to support your academic journey, including helping you study, connecting with a peer and more through events, scheduled 1-1 time and speaking with advisors.
At Risk (Required to Withdraw, Debarred, Ineligible to Graduate)
