Psychology, 3rd year
As a psychology major, I am passionate about promoting and applying mental health in my day-to-day life. I want to see other students caring about their mental health and well-being as much as they care about their physical health and grades. I mean come on, how many of us schedule meditation time as urgently as scheduling a dentist appointment? I hope that through the Well-being & YU podcast, you can actually shift your perspective and remember that self-love and discipline are not enemies, as they both help you work toward your goals. Hopefully we can achieve these goals together, one episode at a time.

Statistics, 2nd year
I am an international undergraduate student, excited to promote and work for a valuable resource, which empowers students to prioritize their well-being and make positive changes in their lives. To me, well-being involves self-care, cultivating healthy habits, continuous learning and evolving, practicing mindfulness, and fostering positive connections. It is all about living a life of balance, meaning, joy and fulfillment.

I am an undergraduate student with a keen interest in maintaining proper mental health, and I am grateful that I can apply my technical experience to this venture and use my skills to point student towards a life of better well-being. For me, well-being is about living a life of balance and doing so to the point of being content with how you live. I believe everyone can achieve that point of contentment in their lives, but every unique individual has their own unique path towards getting there. I’m excited that I get to contribute to this project, which accounts for the uniqueness of people’s journeys towards better mental health.
